- Pudge Fights is a free tool that pits two landing pages against each other in a six-round scored fight and declares a winner. Pudge, a capybara in a hard hat, referees. It is made by Pudge Studio.
- How are landing pages scored?
- Each page is scored across six rounds: Speed, Accessibility, Typography, Call to Action, Meta Hygiene, and Mobile Ready. The page with the higher weighted total wins. Scores are deterministic and evidence-based — the same pages always score the same, and an LLM never assigns the numbers.
- Is Pudge Fights free, and do I need an account?
- Yes, it is completely free and no account is required. You can run up to 10 fights per day.
- Where do the speed and accessibility scores come from?
- Speed and Accessibility use Google PageSpeed Insights (Lighthouse). The other rounds are computed from the page's own HTML — fonts, headings, calls to action, meta tags, and viewport configuration.
- What happens to the page that loses?
- Losers land on the public leaderboard too. Pudge Studio also rebuilds losing landing pages — design and engineering meant to win the next fight.
